Canoeing at Audley

Summary

You can hire a boat from Audley boatshed and paddle up the Hacking River or Kangaroo Creek.

Detailed Guide

Getting There

The Audley Boatshed is in the Royal National Park, south of Sydney. It can be reached via car most easily, otherwise a train ride to Loftus Train station, then transferring to the Historic Tram museum which provides tram rides in to the national park (close to Audley) on Sundays and during school holidays (see the Tram Museum website for more details on when the trams are running). Otherwise, walking from Loftus train station is possible.

Activities

Row boats, canoes and paddle boats can be hired from the boatshed. Picnics by the river side, and swimming in the river are fun things to do with the day.
