周少武,男,1964年3月出生,博士,二级教授,博导。1984年6月毕业于重庆建筑工程学院自动化专业, 1990年1月在中南工业大学攻获硕士学位, 2005年12月在湖南大学控制理论与控制工程专业获得博士学位。2008年公派去英国斯旺西大学做高级访问学者。入选湖南省跨世纪121人才工程。矿山安全预警技术与装备湖南省工程实验室主任,
周少武教授主要从事矿山电传动控制技术、智能机器人控制技术和煤矿安全监控技术的研究。2016年以来,支持国家自然科学基金2项(面向煤矿救援的群体机器人协作控制理论方法研究,2014年-2017年,大型矿用电动轮自卸车动力系统优化控制方法研究,2016年-2019年),获国家国防科技进步三等奖1项(2019年),湖南省国防科技进步二等奖1项(2016年)。在《Applied Energy》、《International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems》、《Electric Power Components and Systems》、《International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems》、《机器人》等重要期刊上发表论文20余篇。主编出版教材1部(计算机控制技术,2017年)。
